I’ve just returned from the 12th annual Bang on a Can Summer Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts where I had the privilege of working closely with some of the most exciting comtemporary composers & musicians for three weeks.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the crowdfunding campaign. I am so grateful.
The three-week festival takes place at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams. In addition to the composition fellows, thirty-three musicians from twelve countries are also participating. The composition faculty consists of Michael Gordon (honored by Guggenheim Foundation, NEA, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, American Academy of Arts & Letters), David Lang (Pulitzer Prize, Grammy, Yale faculty) & Julia Wolfe (MacArthur Fellow, Pulitzer Prize, NYU faculty).
